Twill backing is the base fabric we embroider directly onto. When you choose sew-on or no additional backing, your patch is delivered in this natural form. It is our most affordable and commonly selected option. For best results, we recommend sewing the patch onto your garment, as this provides the strongest attachment and ensures long-lasting durability during regular use.
These patches can be easily applied to most fabrics using a standard household iron. Iron-on backing offers a strong and durable hold while remaining simple to use. Once applied correctly, the patch stays firmly in place for long-term wear. For best results, place a cloth between the patch and the iron during application.
Velcro backing is ideal for patches that need to be removed and reapplied. Normally, Velcro comes in two parts: the hook side and the loop side. With standard orders, we provide both sides, and the hook side is sewn onto the back of the patch.
If you require only a single Velcro side, we can provide that upon request.
